A Monkey's Journey Starts With A Single Step

Mountain top

My first blog post starts with an obvious question. Blogging's been around since the mid 90's, why haven't I started one before now?

Well I've been busy with my career, mostly working for other people and only now have my own business. Another reason was mentioned in a recent post by SEO Chick Anita Chaperon following on from the marketing big cheese himself Seth Godin.

The reason being I've been trying hard to get it right first time when there's no real need! It's better to get the information out there, make it interesting and judge the response. Anita and Seth's posts have tipped me over the edge and here I am!

My clients constantly ask questions and now I have a quick and easy direction in which to point them.

My aim with this blog is to help those people who find, the web especially and the print trade, a little complex to understand. Those people who can't beat a chimp at a memory test, ooops that's most of us!

The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.
Chinese proverb

This journey will lead to a greater understanding of the internet and the print process. Anyone who'd like to join me on this journey can hit the RSS icon or visit this blog from time to time.

What's that I hear you say, RSS?!

If you're sitting there thinking the same then this blog is for you!

My blog will hopefully be fun, jargon busting, easy to follow and helpful to everyone who reads it.

Please leave comments, I'd like to talk to anyone who enjoys web and print.

Oh and one more thing, don't forget to pack some warm clothes, it could get chilly on the path to the top of Mount Jargonless!
