Frankenstein's Monster or SEO Experiment?

Do you experiment with SEO? Do you try things that ruin the design of your site? Have you stuffed so many keywords into your content that you need an enigma machine to be able to decipher it?!
If you've answered yes to some of these questions then either you don't much care for the look of your site and its' users or you're so desperate to rank at No.1 in Google you'll try anything to get there!
Now you're No.1 in Google, the money and the work will come rolling in, right? Oh dear, you've fallen into the trap of getting a high ranking in Google at the expense of your users who visit the site. What happens when a user starts to read your page and gets fed up with reading your keyword for the 10th time within the first paragraph! Yep you guessed it they run a mile.
What about filling your page with H1 and H2 headings, what's wrong with that?! Again if your goal is to rank well in the search engines then go ahead but if you actually want new clients and customers then you need to experiment a little.
You don't have to spam users with keyword filled content in order to rank well. What you need to do is learn the more subtle things you can do to improve your ranking whilst at the same time providing a good experience for your users.
One such thing you might like to experiment with is Alt tags for your images. Something users don't see but search engines really like.
Now if you're reading this and terms like Alt tags and keywords are confusing you then do not fear. These terms and many more will be explained in forth coming articles.
Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Is it an... ape?! No it's Makakman!! The hairiest and cheekiest superhero of them all ready to save you from the internet evil doers Mr Confuser, Black Hat, Spammerman and many more.
