Fleur Estelle

Fleur had been using the Adobe Content Management System Contribute for a number of years but felt the system was a little confusing and not particularly easy to use, even though she is a self-professed geek!

Not wanting a new design the task was to transfer everything across to our CMS of choice Drupal, then rework our style sheets to match the layout.

This was done to good effect and then the addition of a news section was added. Google checkout buttons were also incorporated within the layout.

Editing a Page

When it comes to editing a page the Drupal system is simple to use, providing an edit tab on every page.

Editing Text

Editing a page can come in two forms, plain text or by using a WYSIWYG editor that most applications have such as Word etc. A combination of modules brings together a powerful editor which allows everything from bold and italic, to adding imagery and flash.

Preview and Publish

Once you've created or edited a page Drupal provides two simple buttons at the bottom of the page for previewing and publishing.

Everything came together to give Fleur the control and confidence she wanted to be able to update her website on a regular basis.
